trivago is hiring a Site Reliability Engineering Lead in its SRE (Thomas Khalil) team, based in Düsseldorf. The posting is in English, which usually means the team works in English. It mentions relocation or visa support; confirm the details with the recruiter. Curated from the company's own careers page. Apply there directly.
Visa. This looks like an IT, engineering or science role, the groups German law treats as shortage occupations for the EU Blue Card (§18g AufenthG). That means the lower salary threshold applies: €45,934 a year in 2026, instead of €50,700. You also need a degree that is recognised or comparable in Germany; check yours in anabin before you apply. Step by step: Blue Card application from India.
Sponsorship. The employer's posting mentions visa or relocation support. Confirm what it covers (visa fees, flights, temporary housing) with the recruiter before you accept.
Language. The posting is in English, which usually means the team works in English. German still helps for everything outside the office, from the Ausländerbehörde to your landlord.
Salary. The posting does not state a salary; German employers often discuss it at the first interview, so know your number before then. Check what a gross figure means as take-home pay with the salary calculator. No offer yet? The Opportunity Card lets you come to Germany and search from here.
